What size storage units do you offer?
We offer a variety of unit sizes, ranging from small 5x5 lockers for personal items to large 20 x 20 units suitable for furniture, business inventory, or entire households. Our team can help you choose the right size based on your needs and your budget!
How much does a storage unit cost?
Prices vary based on the unit size, location, and availability. We offer competitive rates and amazing promotions! Many self-storage providers increase rates just months after you move in, sometimes even doubling your rent. At Stor-It, we take a different approach, we do not do surprise rate hikes! We are up front honest and open!
Do I need to sign a long-term lease?
No long-term commitment is required. Our rentals are month-to-month, giving you the flexibility to store for as long or as little you need.
What do I need to rent a storage unit?
To rent a unit, you will need a valid photo ID (e.g., driver's license or passport) and a signed rental agreement.
Do you require a deposit to hold a unit?
No, we do not require a deposit to hold, just your name and phone number!
Is insurance required for my stored items?
No! Unlike the chain storage facilities Stor-It Self Storage does NOT make you take insurance! You can self-insure. Again, looking out for saving you money!
When can I access my storage unit?
Access hours vary by location, but most of our facilities offer access 7 days a week 6:00 AM-10:00 PM. being in the Storage industry for over 30 years, we have heard horror stories of facilities that offer 24-hour access. Homeless people living in units, a higher rate of theft and crime. Please beware of facilities that offer 24 hr accesses. Our state- of -the -art security lasers engage at 10:00 PM and police are dispatched if alarms go off.
Is the facility secure?
Absolutely! Our facilities feature gated access, security cameras, keypad entry, well-lit grounds, laser system, and individual unit locks to keep your belongings safe.
Can I reserve a unit in advance?
Yes! You can reserve a unit online, by phone, or in person. Reservations help ensure availability and lock in your rate.
Are there any items I am not allowed to store?
Yes, prohibited items include hazardous materials, flammable liquids, explosives, illegal items, food, and live animals. If you are unsure, just ask our team for guidance.
Do you offer climate-controlled units?
Yes, we offer climate-controlled units to protect sensitive items like electronics, documents, wood furniture, and artwork from extreme temperatures and humidity.
How do I make payments?
Payments can be made online, in person, or by automatic billing. We accept most major credit cards and debit cards.
What happens if I miss a payment?
Late fees may apply if your payment is not received on time. Continued non-payment can result in lockout or unit auction per state laws. Contact us early if you need help managing your payment.
Can I change to a different unit if I need more or less space?
Yes, you can transfer to a different unit size based on availability. Our staff will assist you in finding the right fit.
Do you provide moving carts or dollies?
Yes, we offer complimentary carts and dollies for on-site use to make moving easier.
Do you sell packing supplies?
Yes, we carry a full range of boxes, tape, bubble wrap, locks, and other packing supplies in our office.
If I move out early, do I get a refund?
We do not offer refunds or prorated rent for early move-outs. However, unlike many other facilities, your billing cycle is based on your move-in date, not the 1st of the month. This means your monthly rent is due on your anniversary date. As long as you move out on or before your next month's anniversary date, you will not be charged for the following month. Please plan ahead and give the office a 5-day notice when vacating your unit.

Absolutely! We welcome and encourage local businesses to store with us. We offer convenient delivery options, including direct-to-unit deliveries, to make running your business easier. Ask us about our business-friendly benefits!
